English Grad School Life

Fall Semester has started!

Hello, all!

Finally, the fall semester has started! It’s been a nice and calm (well, there were lots of ups and downs during my summer break this time with my personal life though…) summer break from school past 2 months. Now, it’s time to go back to school to get more improved myself!!…

I’m taking 3 courses this semester, Project Management, Managerial Economics, and Business Data Analytics. I do not have any background of business education, It is getting harder and harder to catch up classes, to be honest. But it is really fun to learn something new! Learning new things make us keep young, isn’t it?!

In my program, most of the students don’t have any business degrees in their bachelor’s degrees. So, I can’t really complaints about I don’t have any knowledge of the business. It’s not gonna be any excuses to have a bad grade at the end. Our program aims that the students will learn a graduate level of practical business skills and open their career opportunity.

As for me, the reason why I attended this program is that I would like to have a Canadian qualification with a higher education level. Of course, It’s not only the way to get a better job or a career what I want to have. I need to make an action on my own to reach my goals.

To start this semester meaningful, a career event is coming at the end of the month at our business school!! Why not participate to get this opportunity!

Grad school life is tough, but “No pain, No gain”!!! (One of our professors remind us this at the beginning of this semester.) Especially English isn’t my native language, it takes more time to understand, read, and catch up than students who are native English speakers.

In the end, it’s an investment in myself.  I won’t regret to contribute my time to try improving my life. Right?

Ok, let’s get back to study now!! I need to catch up classes this weekend! Yes, it’s still the 1st week… but you know…, I need to catch up!
